What’s been happening:

After graduating from Penn State in 1963 with a ROTC commission as a 2nd Lieutenant, I served in the US Army Medical Service Corps for 2 years as a hospital administration officer in an Army field hospital in the Bavarian Alps area south of Munich, Germany. After the Army, I worked in Philadelphia. I was transferred to the Los Angeles area in 1968 and the rest is history. Eventually my parents and siblings followed me to California. My wife Laurie (Bereza) is from Pittsburgh. We have 6 children (see cover picture) and 15 grandchildren who all live within 25 miles of us, so our lives are very family oriented. We live in Rossmoor Estates, Los Alamitos, CA 90720, pop 10,000, in Orange County. We are 5 miles from the ocean, next to the quaint city of Seal Beach, CA, pop 24,000. I retired from Control Data Corp, a computer hardware and software company. We enjoy jogging, biking and swimming to keep physically fit. Our e-mail address is thomas.purcell6@verizon.net.
